Mike was raised in Wellington, KS (huge Jayhawks fan by the way) He surrendered to the ministry in high school. While attending Oklahoma Baptist University, he served in several churches and later began full-time ministry at Village Baptist in OKC, as music associate, where he served for 5 ½ years, During this time, Mike attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as a part-time student working on his Master’s in Music. He also met his beautiful wife Heather while serving at Village. Then, in 2001 he was called to Waterloo Road Baptist were he served for over six years. He has been the worship leader here at Arrow Heights since June of 2007.
