Does winter weather have you in the gloomy doldrums?  Discover the joy of
reading exciting books and discussing them with our Women's Ministry Book
Club.  This month's book is "Echo in the Darkness" by Francine Rivers.  It
is the second in her Mark of the Lion series.  Set in the first century
after the resurrection of Jesus, this is the fictional story of a Jewish
Christian girl and her passion to live as an obedient servant and share
Jesus with others.  What a challenge for all of us!  Her story inspires us
to examine our own lives for opportunities to be a blessing to our Lord and
to those who cross our paths.  You may want to read "The Voice in the Wind"
first, but that is not necessary.  While these are lengthy books, they are
very easy reading that will keep you wanting to read more.  You will be
amazed at the research done by the author and how her well-crafted
characters and plots transport you into the ancient times of Rome.

There is no need to call ahead, but if you have questions, feel
free to call Susan at 455-3824.
