Brother Bob has been senior pastor at Arrow Heights Baptist Church since November 1974. He has served two terms as President of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.
Brother Bob has served in many leadership roles, most notable was Vice President of the Pastor’s Conference of Oklahoma, Board of Trustees for the Oklahoma Baptist General Convention, Trustee and Strategic Planning Committee Chairman for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, Executive Committee Co-Vice Chairperson for the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma, and Moderator of the Tulsa Metro Association of Baptist Churches.
Green has also devoted his time to service in the community. His leadership roles have included Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, President of the Broken Arrow Ministerial Alliance, Vice President of North Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors for Christian Family Institute, and Vice President of Tulsa Together. He is chairman of the Professional Advisory Committee for Clinical Pastoral Education at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
Rev. Green completed coursework for a Doctor of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University.
Rev. Green was born and raised in Texas, and he graduated from high school in Odessa. He and his wife, Margaret, have three grown children, two daughters and a son. He and Margaret have six grandchildren.
