The children's ministries of Arrow Heights Baptist Church encompasses all children from birth through sixth grade. The teachers at Arrow Heights desire that your children have the best possible experience while they are at church. We utilize a digital check-in system and security policies to ensure your child's safety while they are in our care, and our programs are designed to effectively communicate the truth of God's Word in a way that your child can understand. We value our families and children, and we invite you to become a part of our family.
Our children's Sunday school program is specially designed for children ages 1st-4th grade and meets Sunday mornings at 9:15am upstairs in the children's wing. Your child will rotate in a group between four different rooms, each of which enforces the Bible story or lesson for that day: Games, Video, Bible Story and Drama.
AREA 56 is Arrow Heights' own unique ministry for 5th and 6th grade students. We recognize that this age group is often "stuck" in the middle: too old for young children's activities, yet not mature enough for the youth group. Enter AREA 56, a ministry designed to partner with you as parents to meet the social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of your 5th-6th grade students.
AREA 56 exists to help 5th and 6th grade students...
- Grow in their faith in Christ
- Reach out to unbelievers
- Connect with each other so they may challenge those growing in faith
- Discover their own unique, God-given abilities and talents
- Honor God with their lives
AREA56 meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in room 220 for a time of music, games and devotion. Grades 6-8 meet together on Sunday mornings in the Student Center.
AWANA is a fully-integrated evangelism and discipleship program for children ages 4 through 4th grade. AWANA clubs meet during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM, and weekly sessions feature games, small-group Bible learning, as well as large-group Bible teaching, worship and awards. To learn more about the AWANA program, visit their website at www.awana.org.
