Children's Ministry

The children’s ministries of Arrow Heights Baptist Church encompasses all children from birth through sixth grade. The teachers at Arrow Heights desire that your children have the best possible experience while they are at church. We utilize a digital check-in system and security policies to ensure your child’s safety while they are in our care, and our programs are designed to effectively communicate the truth of God’s Word in a way that your child can understand. We value our families and children, and we invite you to become a part of our family.

Sunday at Arrow Heights Kids

On Sunday mornings at 9am, our children ages birth-6th grade are provided engaging, age appropriate Bible teaching.  During our worship service at 10:15am, we offer an extended session for children ages birth-4 years.  Children ages 5 and older attend the worship service with their parents.

Sunday evenings during the school year (September – May) we offer the opportunity for children ages 4 (by September 1, 2023) through 6th grade to participate in our Children’s Choir.

Children’s Choir at Arrow Heights is designed to invest both musically and spiritually in the lives of your little ones.  Our children’s choirs include music, motions, drama, instruments, hymn memory, games and more.  At the end of each semester, our combined children’s choirs present a program for the entire church.

Wednesday at Arrow Heights Kids

These programs meet throughout the school year (September - May)

KIDS! CROSS+TRAINING is for children ages 3 through 4th grade and meets during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM.  Wednesday nights begin with kids joining students and adults in the Worship center for worship and prayer; after which they are dismissed to their classes for age-appropriate biblical teaching.

AREA 56  is Arrow Heights’ own unique ministry designed to partner with parents to meet the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of 5th-6th grade students.  Area 56 exists to help 5th and 6th grade students grow in their faith in Christ, connect with each other, reach out to unbelievers, discover their own unique abilities and talents, and honor God with their lives.  Area 56 meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00PM during the school year.

Special Events

Parent & Child Dedication

Join us on Mother’s Day, May 12, during our Worship Service for our Parent & Child Dedication.  Arrow Heights Baptist Church believes that dedicating children to the Lord is an important and special occasion as parents covenant with God in raising their children.  This is also a time for our church family to come together and commit to support parents as they guide their child’s spiritual journey.  If you have a child that you would like dedicated during this special time, be sure to RSVP by April 29.  If you have any questions, contact Jennifer Story at jstory@arrowheights.org.

CrossTimbers Children's Camp

Kids who have completed the 3rd-6th grades are invited to join us for CrossTimbers Children’s Camp, July 8-11.  Come spend 4 days at CrossTimbers where we will focus on intentional spiritual investment in each child’s life through scripture, worship, and opportunities for kids and sponsors to sharpen their skills and prepare to consistently serve God after camp.  Pastor Nathan Copeland will be the camp speaker for the week!

Cost to attend is $200.  The deadline to register is June 10.
