About Dr. Ryan Smith

Ryan was affirmed as the new Lead Pastor at AHBC on August 14, 2022.

Ryan is married to Allison and they have two children: Kelen and London.

He is a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University; a Masters of Divinity with Languages from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary; as well as Masters of Theology degree and a Doctorate of Ministry in Apologetics from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also serves as an adjunct professor.

Ryan has been in church ministry since 2004. He served at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma, for over 18 years before accepting the position as Lead Pastor at Arrow Heights.

Ryan is a huge Oklahoma City Thunder fan, loves music, and also enjoys reading good books while drinking good coffee.

Ryan is the author of two books: Not That God: Trading the Believable Lie for the Unbelievable Truth, and Trust the Circle: Understanding God’s Design for Sex, Gender, and Sexuality.
