October Mission Emphasis
Each month Arrow Heights emphasizes a specific mission opportunity or offering to our congregation. Check back each month to see our next emphasis!
Formerly known as DaySpring Villa, The Spring is Oklahoma’s only faith-based certified shelter for victims and their children. The Spring’s team is dedicated to building a firm spiritual foundation, restoring emotional health, and providing practical solutions to meet the needs of victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human sex-trafficking. Volunteer
The generosity of our volunteers to operate our shelter helps us decrease overhead and provide compassionate, quality care to the survivors in our shelter.
The Springs provides direct and indirect volunteer opportunities.
Indirect service volunteers actively support The Spring’s donation center, kitchen, and on-going projects and events. Direct service volunteers engage one-on-one with guests at The Spring, though these opportunities require additional training provided by The Spring. Volunteer opportunities available include: book club, job readiness, donations center, personal stylist, hair stylist, childcare, christian worship/service, crisis phone calls, cleaning shelter, room turnovers, pet shelter, community garden, ongoing project assistance, encouragement volunteer, kitchen volunteers, kitchen greeter, and kitchen cleaner.
