Austin Puckett
Austin joined the staff at AHBC in January of 2024 as the Student Minister.
Austin is married to Katy; they are expecting their first child in March.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Sociology: Emphasis on Law, Crime, and Social Justice from Oklahoma State University in 2020. He went on to earn a Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2023.
Prior to joining the staff at AHBC, Austin has been a student ministry resident at Eagle Heights Baptist Church (Stillwater, OK), as well as a pastoral intern at Third Avenue Baptist Church (Louisville, KY), Grace Church (Guildford, England, UK), and Mount Vernon Baptist Church (Atlanta, GA). He was also a presidential intern at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Typical of men in ministry, Austin loves to read theology books and drink good coffee. Additionally, he and his wife enjoy reading together, doing crossword puzzles, cooking together, and watching movies.
