WEE Ministry Preschool strives to meet each student at their current developmental level while teaching them about God’s love and preparing them for their next step emotionally, socially, and academically. To help us in our mission, we utilize play-based learning. Our teachers create Weekly Themes and plans curated to pique the interests of their little learners. When teachers notice their students are interested in dinosaurs, they create lesson plans that incorporate dinosaur-themed learning activities into their day, engaging students and helping to foster an environment where children are eager to learn. We believe children learn critical social, emotional, reading, writing, science, and math skills through play!
Our 2, 3, 4-year old, and Pre-K classes utilize the Tiny Tots curriculum to assist in learning colors, letters, matching objects, sorting, and weather. Pre-K students also use Lovely Commotion to strengthen letter recognition and formation, pr-reading, and early math skills. Kindergarten students use KinderMath and Guided Phonics. Our kindergarten class meets the Department of Education Kindergarten objectives.
Music & Movement class is attended daily by all students older than 2.
All classes have prayer and Bible stories daily and a monthly Bible verse. 3-year-old classes through Kindergarten participate in a weekly Rise & Shine Chapel.
Every year, WEE Ministry Preschool holds a Kindergarten Graduation. Additionally, we offer Christmas and Spring programs for our 3-year-old, 4-year-old, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes.
